Many people may ask: how do I manage to organize so many things in my life?
In the beginning, there was nothing.
I just sat and stared out the window. Sometimes I picked up a book, but even that didn’t always hold my attention. My thoughts were always elsewhere.
During the autumn, there was work to do in the garden, but in the winter, nothing. Yet my hands missed having something to do.
I started knitting and crochet-working
Since I had forgotten the patterns, I turned to Pinterest for help. That’s how my search for new and new ideas began.
Jewelry making
Using beads in knitting led me to try jewelry making. I started watching more and more English-language videos. A new idea came.
Speaking English.
That’s how I found Vig-Village. It was there I really began to speak English.
Then came guitar learning.
During that time, I heard someone playing the guitar. It gave me chills—it was so beautiful to listen to. And it made me think: Am I too old for this? Could I also coax sounds out of a guitar?
Over time, I’ve learned to recognize when my body craves a certain activity. Since then, I’ve been living my life this way. I often don’t even know what day it is unless I check my phone. But that’s okay. I don’t have any obligations. I just do what I feel like doing.
My Daily Routine
I usually wake up between 6 and 7 AM. I stay in bed until 7:30, using apps like Flashcards and Duolingo to study.
From 7:30 to 8:00, I have breakfast and feed my cats.
Between 8:00 and 9:00, I play music – guitar and piano.
From 9:00 to 10:00, free time.
Between 10:00 and 12:00, I spend time in the Vig-Village community, learning and chatting.
From 12:00 to 13:00, I have lunch and do light housework.
Between 13:00 and 14:00, I rest or take a short nap.
From 14:00 to 16:00, I make jewelry – this is both creative and meditative for me.
Between 16:00 and 18:00, I work on editing my website.
From 18:00 to 19:00, I care for my pets and spend time in the garden.
Between 19:00 and 22:00, I have dinner, chat in the Chatroom, and read.
At 10 PM, I go to bed.
These time blocks are flexible. They often switch depending on what I feel like doing. I also do 1–2 minute micro-exercises almost every hour, especially for my spine. Eye exercises are part of the routine as well.
