About the Vig-Village
Here you will definitely start to speak English.
Mr. Vig had a great idea. He created a virtual village where whithout a doubt you’ll sure start speaking English. I never beleived I would ever speak. After more than fifty years of learning, but never actually speaking.
But the magic happened, and I’m speaking English!
Not perfectly, but I have courage. I don’t mind if I make mistakes. Only one thing is important. Try to say something!

Life in Vig-Village
When we start studying in the Vig-Village, we get Powerswords (I have more than 2800!). From these come the Flashcards. Every day we have to practice them, before we start our day. We also listen daily to different topics on Bidge Audio.
We even have lessons on how to learn English effectively.
All day, from 7 AM to 11 PM, we can join chatrooms. During this time there is always a nativ speaker who help us . We get a topic, and we talk about it for 15-20 minutes in a breakout room with only two or three people. Here we can’t hide —we WILL speak! Then the topic and the people change. We can stay all the day, if we want, or just for 15 minutes.

In the Vig-Village, there are no school desks and no strick time! We can join anywhere, anytime, from any comfortable position. One important rule. DO NOT use a dictionary! If you don’t know a word, search for images first. Check it in the news context, but don’t translate directly.
Nobody corrects our mistakes. It’s not advised to correct each other — just speak freely! Also, use our ‘Dead Time’: waiting in line, travelling, walking — every minute helps your learning!
We can choose from the Game, Bookworm , Podcast, Netflix , Powerwords and Bridge Audio chatrooms.

Native Speakers and Citizens
Here, in the Vig-Village there are about 14-15 nativ speakers. Almost nobody lives there where they were born. Someone came from America, but live in Czech Republic; others came from Canada but live in Malta or Bolivia. I have heard about Australia, the Phillippines, Hawaii, Thailand, South Africa, Ireland, Spain, Peru, England, France Guiana, Poland.

From Finland, Poland, Lithuania, Latvia, and Estonia.
Also from Denmark, Germany, France, and Italy.
I must mention Portugal, Greece, Israel, Switzerland, Romania, Bulgaria, and China.
Let’s not forget the Czech Republic, Hungary, Croatia, Slovenia, and Slovakia.
And finally, from Saudi Arabia, Madagascar, and even more.
Everyone brings something unique!

So I DON’T GO ANYWHERE FROM MY HOME, BUT I AM IN THE WORLD.
Who are the students? They’re the “citizens” of the Vig-Village — people of all ages and various professions. I think the oldest is 78 years old, the youngest over 30. They are not only engineers, doctors, lawyers, teachers but also researchers, artists, designers, businessmen and businesswomen and more. We are all adults, there are no children.
Addicted to the Vig-Village!
I think, I am addicted to the Vig-Village! Everyone is always smiling, kind and helpful. I started again to smile. Sometimes I even say something funny. I love being there. I started speaking and I feel much more confident.
If you really want to speak, I recommend it — come and see how it works!
