The sight of old American cars always fills me with admiration. I think not only me, but everyone in this world. How could they design so much beauty? That’s why they named this exhibition “American Car Wonders”. We went there in February 2007. Not only did I go with my husband, but the whole family came, and even friends and acquaintances.
The location of the American Car Wonders Exhibition
The location of the American Car Wonders Exhibition in Budapest was the Westend City Center. They set up scenery typical of America. So we could imagine ourselves a little bit like we were in America.
There were palm trees…

…..a beach…

a gas station.
There was even a phone booth.

And whose photo is on the car’s spare wheel?
Many people may not even know who she was.
The exhibition also featured a black Stutz Blackhawk from Elvis Presley‘s car collection.

There was also a pink Cadillac, which always reminds us of Elvis Presley.

Let’s not forget about the police cars either.

A lighted sign symbolizing Route 66 in America was also on display. Route 66.

There was also an announcement about the upcoming event at Kincsem Park, which took place on April 28-29, 2007. I found several summaries of this event on the internet. (Unfortunately, they are only in Hungarian, but the pictures speak for themselves.) However, I couldn’t find anything about the American Car Wonders Exhibition.
Brands of the American Car Wonders
I took nearly 100 photos on the exhibitin. There are some cars that, for some reason, were not photographed.
I received a lot of information(40 pages!) from CHATGpt regarding the identification of the photos. I thought I would share this information here. Maybe it will be useful to someone else. I have never learned so much about American cars in my life as I do now.
I counted 13 different car brands.

This exhibition was truly wonderful, and there really were “American car wonders” there. Perhaps I brought back fond memories for many people.
