One year has passed since I wrote the very first word on this website. I know it might not look ‘picture-perfect’ yet. But considering that this is completely outside my profession, and that I jumped into this as a 66-year-old woman, it might not be that bad after all. Plus, I started it in two languages (English and Hungarian) right from the get-go.
Completely on my own, with zero experience, I managed to learn how to use WordPress in just one year with the help of Artificial Intelligence. In the first few months, I wrote over 200 articles and edited more than 500 photos. I got incredibly tired from all that hard work, so I had to take a break. But now, I might just start again, because during this break, I’ve picked up many new and old hobbies. So, I have plenty of stories to share!
To talk a bit about the statistics: I don’t keep an eye on them constantly anymore; I just check every few months to see if anything has changed. There is a slight upward trend. My site is currently in 9.4th place on average, which means that for the keywords my page appears for, it ranks at the bottom of the first page of Google (around the 9th or 10th spot).
There are 407 active users on the site from 47 different countries. Over the past year, the site has received 10,475 direct visits and 6,000 views from Google searches. Pages were opened 3,615 times.”
