Same name, different soul each time
In Vig-Village, there are two chatrooms (easy & open chatrooms) that — while named differently — share a common purpose:
to offer a safe and friendly space for speaking English freely, especially for newcomers.
One is called the “Easy Chatroom”, the other is the “Open Chatroom”.
Although they take place on different days and are led by different native speakers,
the idea is the same: come as you are, speak as you can, and enjoy the ride.
Free talk, gentle structure
There’s no fixed topic — instead, the host brings something unique each time.
It could be a visual, a question, a phrase, or even a short mystery story.
Then comes the 15-minute breakout session, where small groups chat about the topic.
Afterward, we come back together, and it starts again — new topic, new group.
Familiar format, endlessly different personalities
What I love about these chatrooms is that, even though the structure is familiar,
every host has their own personality.
One may bring Shakespeare idioms, another might offer a mistery to solve,
while someone else prefers casual expressions or reading together.
So in the end, each Easy or Open Chatroom is both similar and unique —
a shared format with endless variety.
They’re perfect for beginners, because you’re not expected to be perfect — only present.
