Where Community, Questions, and Success Come Together
The Coaching Chatroom is truly different from all the others.
It’s not about games, songs, or idioms — it’s about connection, learning, and encouragement.
And it’s led by Mr. Vig himself, the founder of Vig-Village.
This chatroom is held every Saturday from 4:00 to 5:00 PM (CET), and it’s only open to Citizens — those who decide to stay in Vig-Village after the one-month program, with a monthly, quarterly, or yearly membership.

What makes this chatroom unique is that there are no breakout rooms — we stay together as one large group.
In fact, this is the only session where I’ve seen almost 50 people attending at once!
It begins with announcements from Mr. Vig, sharing updates about new events and programs.

Then comes a Questions session: people can ask questions about English usage or learning strategies.
Sometimes answers come immediately, other times Mr. Vig takes the question and returns with answers the following week.
Next comes my favorite part — the success stories.
Anyone can share their personal victory in learning or using English.
Some tell how they ordered food in English, others mention a work-related achievement, and one person shared how they finally could speak with their grandchild — born in the USA.
My first success?
I started speaking. I dared to say something aloud.
That was a big step for me.
If there’s still time after the stories, the chatroom sometimes shifts into a more typical topic-based discussion, possibly with breakout rooms.
If there’s no time left for breakout discussions, then at 5:00 PM, a new session begins — open to everyone, including non-Citizens. This second session is also led by Mr. Vig.
