The Siklós Castle-the motorcycle parts

I visited the area around Siklós Castle with my husband while purchasing old motorcycle parts in November 2005.

The Weather

As always, I enjoy discovering local attractions. However, the weather was not favorable for this. It was rainy and foggy, as it was November.

The photos  were also gloomy and were usually taken on the go. As a result, many of them are blurry. However, I don’t want to throw them away because they provide irreplaceable experiences.

The Location

We were lucky and had to go to a row of houses right next to Siklós Castle.

That’s where we got a surprise. Do people live here? Because storing motorcycle parts is just about acceptable here. But there were clothes drying in the yard!

So, people live here, not just motorcycle parts. At least that was the case at the time.

The Siklós Castle

I tried to take photos the Siklós Castle from here and there.

Well… I’m not satisfied with the shots, but they’re mine. You won’t find a view like this anywhere else!

The motorcycle parts

My husband completely filled the bed of the pickup truck. There was a motorcycle frame, an exhaust pipe, some fuel tanks.

And who knows what else?

The promenade

We stopped for a moment under the huge plane trees on the promenade. I looked this way and that. I could hardly see the end or the top.

On the way home

On the way home, I clicked away with my camera. I took pictures of the road and the plateau to make sure we didn’t miss anything.

Then I took pictures of everything we passed. Often, I couldn’t get the shot I wanted because we were moving so fast.

Unfortunately, I don’t know the names of the places we visited.

I’m really sorry, especially about the location of one wooden church that resembled the Székely churches.

I couldn’t find it on the internet either, despite searching for it.
