Where the Clinic Speaks English
The Medical Chatroom is a unique space in Vig-Village where English learning meets real-life health topics.
It takes place every Sunday from 5:00 to 6:00 PM (CET), and I’ve already joined twice.
In this chatroom, Craig is the native speaker. Due to many illnesses in his family, he has picked up a lot of medical vocabulary.
In this session, participants with medical backgrounds — like doctors — get to expand their professional vocabulary in English.
At the same time, others take on the role of the patient.
It’s like a friendly role-play: someone describes symptoms, and others respond with advice or questions — all in English.
It’s not only useful for professionals, but also for anyone who wants to practice health-related vocabulary, or simply gain confidence in more complex conversations.
It’s fun, interactive, and a little different from the usual chatrooms — and that’s what makes it so valuable.
Would you like to see the other chat rooms? Or are you only interested in the Idioms chat room? He runs that one too.
