Where Language Finds Its Soul
As the name suggests, Poetry Chatroom is all about poetry.
It takes place every Sunday from 8:00 to 10:00 AM (CET) — two full hours dedicated to exploring English-language poems.
Learning English through poetry is very different.
It’s not just about understanding the vocabulary, but also the mood, the emotion, and the poet’s inner world.
That’s not easy — even in our native tongue.
And yet, that’s what makes it beautiful.
The session is led by a native speaker (Francena) who truly loves poetry.
You can feel their passion and appreciation in every word they share.
I’ve only joined a few time so far, but even in those sessions, I sensed something very special…….and ….I always cried.
This chatroom is quieter, deeper than others. It’s more painful for me.
It’s still quite new, but already has its own atmosphere — gentle, thoughtful, honest.
Maybe I’ll return later, when my English — and my heart — feel ready for more poetic lines.
