My Biography
My name is Dr. Julianna Molnár. I came into this world in 1959 in the northeastern region of Hungary. In 1966, my parents decided to move to a small village near Budapest. I ended up living there until January 2024.
My First Schools
I went to elementary school in this village. Later enrolled at Jedlik Ányos High School in Csepel. Ever since I was a little child, I always dreamed of becoming a doctor.
However, I wasn’t accepted immediately to the Medical University. So I had to start working.
First, I worked as a nursing assistant at the 3rd Department of Internal Medicine. Later, because the clinic moved too far from my home, I found a job closer, at the Csepel Hospital. In 1978 I got married.
University
In 1979 — just when I was about to give up on my dream — I was finally accepted to Semmelweis University of Medicine in Budapest. I graduated in 1985.

Towards the end of my university years, I had twins. However I continued my studies without hesitation.
Jobs
After graduation, I couldn’t find any other opportunity except for an occupational health position. I worked here until 1994. During this time, I learned a lot about the importance of prevention in healthcare. Meanwhile, my third child was born, making our family complete.
In 1994, a local general practitioner’s position became available in my village. I applied and got the job. After this I continued working there proudly and with dedication until 2024 my retirement.
Retirement
Nowadays, I have been enjoying my retirement for almost two years. I’m living in my countryside house. Even so, my desire for learning and self-development has never stopped.
